Moving Henry Forward was founded in 2017 to share positive happenings in Henry County and highlight progress being made, often behind the scenes, on transportation projects. The site has grown into a popular source of community information covering transportation projects, new developments, and local government.

About the Founder
Clayton Carte was raised in Henry County and graduated from Ola High School. Clayton resides in Locust Grove and attends Clayton State University for his undergraduate studies. His goals include running for public office and encouraging others to become involved in local government.
Clayton is an active member of the Boy Scouts of America and earned the Eagle Scout award in high school. He enjoys being outdoors and often plans his road trips to pass through national parks and similar sites of interest.
Clayton is a frequent attendee at county commission and city council meetings and takes an active role in the community when opportunities arise. Past leadership roles included serving as the committee chair for the SPLOST V Committee in 2019 and as a stakeholder for the Imagine Henry 2040 Comprehensive Land Use Plan update in 2018. He appreciates any opportunity to help better Henry County and continue Moving Henry Forward.
