About Clayton Carte
Clayton Carte is the founder and owner of Moving Henry Forward Community News. Founded in 2017, Moving Henry Forward is a preferred source for local news coverage by thousands in Henry County. Clayton has developed vast knowledge about local government and transportation projects during his time writing news articles. He is committed to using his knowledge on behalf of the residents of house district 117.
With traffic congestion a perennial concern in Henry County, Clayton’s knowledge about the issue makes him uniquely qualified to collaborate with the Georgia Department of Transportation on potential solutions. Projects like the new I-75 interchange near Bethlehem Road will provide congestion relief, but they must be carried to completion.
In addition, Clayton has served as both SPLOST V Chairman for Henry County and as a member of the education SPLOST VI committee for Henry County Schools. These experiences further add to his involvement in the local community.
Clayton is a graduate of Ola High School and lifelong resident of Locust Grove. He previously studied political science at Clayton State University and business management at Jacksonville State University. Clayton is an Eagle Scout and alumni of Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity.
A campaign website will be available soon. A Facebook page, Friends to Elect Clayton Carte, is also available.
