Wendy’s among planned tenants at Shoppes at Ola Crossroads

Wendy’s will be among the future tenants at the Shoppes at Ola Crossroads development, according to new information posted online by DART Retail. Two outparcels remain available for other tenants to build.

A Wendy’s in the Ola area would mark the company’s third new store in McDonough. The fast food chain opened a location on state route 155 in the Union Grove community this summer and it was shared at a recent McDonough council meeting that a future store is planned for the site of Dairy Queen off state route 20.

The Shoppes at Ola Crossroads will be located at the northeast corner of state route 81 and North Ola Road. The development is anchored by a new 48,000 square foot Publix scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2021.

Other planned tenants to date include Great Clips and Lush Nail Bar. Seven spaces remain available for other auxiliary shops.
